    Air silencer removal???

    air silencer removal article http://www.lincolnsonline.com/tech/00042.html I removed mine on my 97, slightly louder at WOT, little more induction roar. Very subtle though.

    shift kit / improver? 95+ conti's

    has anyone personally installed a shift kit, like a B&M, on their 95 and up connie? the durability of the trans has me worried, and they say a kit can prolong transmission life + firm up shifts. only other mods right now are flowmasters with factory tips. thanks.

    exhaust question "no mufflers?"

    I have 40 series flowmasters on my 97, with the stock tips. Nice sound, but still very quiet. No droning, hardly noticable on the highway. You can hear the difference at start up and when you get on it. If I were to do it over again, i'd go w/something a little louder. Straight pipes would...

    Picking up black 97 this week

    I'll be driving a 97 from ct to key west this week. very clean car, was my grandfather's, then my brother's, then my father's. Only has about 60K on it. My bro put on flowmasters w/the stock tips, looks and sounds great. i'll put up some pics/sounds as soon as i get her down here. look...
