Looks good I was the one who did this mod and you cannot take a good photo of these lamps at night. You have to see them at night in person.

I have had this happen on my factory Hella BMW ballasts on my M3 and its the Igniter not firing at the correct voltage. Turn the lights off and back on and dont worry about it.

Go down to your local Lexus dealer and check out either the new IS350 or the GS430 at night to see the license plate lamps. They are super bright LED's and look like Xenon lamps. They look great at night and I have tried to take pics but they do not give the lamps justice. You have to see them...

The goog thing is I am going to leave it and see how it grows on me. I can peel off the vinyl and its back to silver again.

I covered the lower grill with black 3M vinyl. It took me about an hour to cut it out.

My headlamps have the black epoxy holding them together. I would have done that when I did the xenon upgrade.

The license plate lamps come as a unit that has to be wired into your original lamp wiring. You also need to dremel out the license plate surround to make them fit. They look awesome at night> I will get some night pics.

Thanks, as you can see I put an 04 grill on and painted the corner lenses. I also installed the license plate lamps off an 06 Lexus GS430. They look awesome at night. I added a retro xenon kit out of some of my left over BMW part. I used the Osram Xenarc bulbs and Hella balasts for the fitment.

The HID bulbs are they D2S or D2R bulbs? The D2R bulb will have the brown reflector on the bulb.

Underdrive pulleys are useful in some applications and not so useful in others. The LS could benefit from a smaller crank pulley if someone offered the aftermarket support for the application.

Looks great now all you need is some H&R springs and you are good to go.
