p0173 doesn't mean the sensor is bad, it means it is showing lean, most probable cause is an air leak, look for tubes and hoses that have came loose or cracked (pull the engine cover).... it could be the sensor, just not likely....

i just put mobil1 0w/20 in my 119,000 mile 3.9l ls, no noise ,hopefully some mileage return, was running red line 5/30....lol

bank 1 refers to the side of the engine where number 1 cylinder is, sensor 2 is the downstream or behind the cat sensor, also called a cat monitor sensor.. should be the side closest to the firewall i believe...anyone...

bosch is the worlds largest supplier of oxygen sensors and other fuel/emmision components, don't sweat it...lol

don't EVER order a $200 part due to a autozone diag. we can help, get the code number....it could be bad, but there are no "techs" at autozone, believe me.....

try the codes again... should be p0455 or something, one letter, three numbers.........
