in my 2001 continental in gear position 3, under full throttle it shifts at like 85-90 at about 5000 rpm into o/d, is there a way to install a o/d lockout like in a markviii so I can fully run through the gear?

also the superchips guy said the reason they want the fuel pump disabled is because they don't want the pump drawing power so the tuner gets the maximum batery voltage possible. Makes perfect sense to me.

right for the wrong reason I am actually looking for the propper way to "disable" the fuel pump acording to the directions of the superchips micro-tuner.

I just bought a superchips #1725 micro-tuner for my 2001 continental and it says in the manual to pull the fuel pump fuse. There is no fuel pump fuse in the fusebox!!! What should I do now? What does pulling the fuse do for the whole programming process? What would the consiquences of "not"...
