I have a 2000 manual. Love the car, had to get it to my standards since he original owner didn't take care of it. Amazing how you can spend 38k on a car and treat it like crap:Bang . Oh well his loss, only paid $5700 a bunch of minor maintanence and the car is running like a champ:Beer

Thanks for the advice, didn't replace anything but after i replaced the valve cover gaskets, I only connect one of the two tubes you referred to. CEL is off and caris running good!

I did replace that rubber elbow on the PCV valve. In this thread, there was a statement that there was another rubber elbow on the system. I wanted to know where that one was located.
I have changed this elbow tube for the PCV valve on my 00 v6, and the manifold gaskets. The cars runs a LOT better, but I still have the PO174 error code and a CEL. :Bang
Did you use spray brake cleaner on rotors to make sure that no oils or dirt was left on it? Did you get the rotors turned? There are alot of treads on brakes on this forum, you might want to check some of them out too.

I will listen/check for a air intake leak. I bought the car with 115K on the dash and it wouldn't surprise me that the PVC tube is bad. I had to correct or fix a lot of little problems with this car. Also, is it still okay to drive the car until this is fixed or will it cause another...
