I bought the XF Jag rear lowers for mine bur have not installed yet. I felt comfortable enough with the reports of just needing some washers to go ahead ahead and take the chance. We should be able to source washers close to spec needed from Mcmaster Carr.
Bringing up this old thread because the current quality of plastic coolant bottles is beyond worthless. Lots of "what ifs" in this thread about the ramifications of the aluminum reservoir not having a sight glass - this has been been a non issue for me as the coolant level has remained constant...
Well, here are what I would call the Gen 2 "critical parts". Installed a couple of weeks ago and so far, so good (haha). I had the parts anodized and removed and plugged the temp sensor. I also discarded the unknown supplied thermostat for a Motorcraft one. The quality seems to be pretty good...
The Gen 2 cooling system parts are now available in aluminum - the critical parts at least. I installed them a couple of weeks ago. Search ebay for Jaguar cooling parts "Mitzone". I thought the parts seemed surprisingly good considering the cheap price.
