The ones on Ebay are the chrome or plastic chrome that I already have that I want to replace with black, like the LSE. Can you provide me a link? Can these realistically be painted, the (top of the) front grille and rear panel thing? Or do I have to buy factory painted black ones?

My 2000 Ls has this exact problem. It hits the roof, makes a loud noise, and then falls under the roof, and goes back. In the winter, it wouldn't move unless I got out of the car and pressed down on it.
