If EVERYTHING is going off when you turn the key, my guess is that it is definitely the battery cables. Change BOTH of them out completely, and then see how it goes. Good luck!

Oh no, I didn't disagree with anything, sorry about that! I was saying that maybe I should get a second key and program two keys along with the Key Fob. For the life of me I cannot figure out how that key fob died in the first place and everything else works fine... And again thank you! Ron

Hello, so I have my ForSCAN program, and one working key for my 2001 Lincoln LS. I need to program a new remote key fob to work with the car, however I only have one working key and I am not sure if I need to to working working keys to program the remote key fob, or does that matter? Any help...

Sorry, I was hoping to ask one more question..... Woupd I need to use FORSCAN to program my REMOTE key fob? My door and ignition key work fine but my remote key fob stopped working, and I bought two new ones but I guess they need to be programmed. Any help is greatly appreciated again! :-) Ron
