My 94 and 95 door panels have these flipped nuts holding the trim panels on.

Am I crazy, or are all the nuts on this part put in upside down? That is, the hex of the nut is under the pin, instead of on top of the pin, so that a socket or wrench can't be put on it? It is item 2 in the graphic, if it is allowed in the post. Or as a description, the plastic trim (finish...
