Hey sorry for delayed response. I got caught with work stuff. I honestly can't remember which way I turned the harmonic balancer. Would that make a difference? I'm going to try to do a compression test as soon as I can get my hands on a gauge.
Yes that's what I'm saying sorry. The only thing that I changed in trying to diagnose it was I did rotate the motor to check the timing. The chain was very tight before I rotated it manually but was a little looser after.
Wouldn't a bad pcm throw some kind of code? Also, quick update it's not turning over at all now. Sounds like no fuel. When I crank it's turns but there's no combustion at all.
I haven't done compression test yet since it was late and storming I had the tow truck tow it to my house. I tried doing a smoke test off some goofy YouTube video and a cigar but nothing came out that way. Ghetto I know.
