i have recently replaced all the coil packs and plugs and hoped that it might help but there was no joy there . i did have several coil packs that were bad but still the cart is difficult to start when cold (cold meaning , the car has sat for 3 hours or more and i live in south florida) it does...

Hi Svets96 , have you ever done a full tuneup on your car ? i have a 2000 conti w/ w4.6 32 v intech engine and have heard horror stories about changing the spark plugs .ive owned the car three years now and am starting to notice i slight miss when idleing , the car has 144000 mileage runs well...

when i did the coolant flush and change after changing my water pump . i filled the reservoir tank and filled the system through the fill plug over the alternator once the res . was full i put the cap on and topped off though the plug over the alternator and i ran the engine with the heat on...

i hope this helps you as i'm not familiar with the older lincolns , i found this web site that offers free wiring diagrams in pdf format for download or viewing online its www.bbbind.com . from there main page you click on the technical info tab and then tsb and wiring diags. they do ask for you...
