Bro, if you ever wind up in my area, you'll be as lost as a white goose in a snowstorm. I got too many meth labs and copper thieves to deal with to fool with big trucks!
I fixed the center vents by replacing the vents and supergluing the bezel where it was broken. Also fixed where the back of the passengers seat kept falling off. Drove my son to baseball practice and fell in love with the car all over again.
Tried kerosene, gasoline, and even mean green. Big NOPE. It was on every painted surface the car had. Mostly on the roof, hood, and deck lid. Totally sucked. The mean green worked ok but it just smeared real bad. The easiest and best way was to pop the dots off with my leatherman micro. Not...
Didn't have one. The closest auto parts store or wal mart is thirty minutes away. Will keep that in mind for the next time though. Love Kentucky but that tree sap is the DEVIL.
I started cleaning the outside of my new addition today.
It had some kind of sap all over it in tiny little red dots.

What's your story in a nutshell?
Planning on washing it tomorrow. The freaking fender vents have left darker ovals where the paint has faded around them. I found out the guy I bought it from left it setting for three months untouched in his yard. He never put anything but 87 octane in and drove it for a year with a bad coil...
Well, charcoal greasy doesn't sound too appealing but to each their own. I know there's a thread that has all the colors by year but I don't remember where. My first one was pearl white and now I've got the silver one. The pearl one had the tan interior but this silver one has the charcoal...
Well, mine has 155k miles on it, but I only have a total of $2850 in it after I fix my door handle. I can't ask for much more than that. Good luck on your search!
I was just really glad to find a good car. I was afraid I'd wind up with a beater civic or something and have to pour money in it to get it right. Now I can knock on doors looking like I'm not a panhandler while getting better fuel mileage. I'be been scouring this site every day just soaking up...
