door handle replaced
took me 2 hours but my used door handle from ebay is now in place.
Tips and tricks?
1) the door lock has a bar that is removeable via a slide out to the left motion. I didn't see this until I was replacing the bar.
2) the electrical connection to the door lock has a...
punt
Sorry to say, after trying to get the compressor back in for about an hour, I punted: went out and bought AC by-pass pulley. This went on in ten minutes.
Now I have a leak between the nut and the hose on the high pressure hose from the PS pump to the rack. From what I read this is...
New pump is in but I have been travelling all week. All that is left is getting the AC compressor back in. It was really tight/tough to get out. First thought , I'm going to release the radiator from one side and see if that allows me to swing it a little to make room.
I'll post back later...
Trying to replace the PS pump. Took off AC and can easily remove 2 of the 4 bolts. I can't see the remaining 2 bolts. spent an hour trying to get socket on just one. Do I need to drop the radiator to get the remaining 2 bolts?

1995 Continental headlights were dim. I started with the 3m headlight restoration kit and was pleased with the results, but decided to replace bulbs anyway.
I read the Chilton manual that said it was a tough fit for your hand but could be done. I did the driver side by removing the air...
Radiator had a leak, because the coils looked like they were aluminum I decided to replace the whole thing. Bought one from ebay. The car is a late 94 build so I think the radiator design changed. The original had built in nipples for the transmission fluid, while the new one had open threads to...
i know this an old post, but i thought i would share my experience... if i heard the pump kick when I turned the key I knew it would start, so i dropped the tank and replaced the pump. Symptoms where still the same. There is a controller in the trunk attached to the back seat. I went to the ford...
Used FDPM = start
got the used FPDM from a 95 Conti. First tried the key with the old, couldn't here the pump prime(3+ times trying). Then I put in the 17 year old part, heard the pump, turned the key all the way and it started.
Apparently the FPDM (fuel pump driver module) can go bad.
I know this is an old message, but I am having the same problems. If I put a hair dryer on the FPDM the fuel pump primes and the car will start. Fordparts.com (i think this is the website) did n't have 9D370 as an available part number but did have 9D372. I think this same module is used in mid...
