With all due respect, this is wrong.. even though the water jackets are different, the heads are interchangeable. You will have to run the Jag/LR head gaskets.
Hi guys. I've since replaced my Gen 2 short block with a refreshed 2005 XJR short block running my Gen2 3.9 heads with no issues. I did all the work myself, so I have given some pointers on gaskets and parts. The waterports on the block are different, but the heads completely cover the water...

I just purchased one from Flagship One for my 2000 LS. It came preprogrammed with the VIN. Then using ForScan I configured the PATS with no problems! ForScan states that you need two keys to do this but I only used one. Let me know if you have questions.

One is worse than the others, but all of them to some degree. You can spin the wheels and see the distortion on the insides of the rims. They can be fixed for about 200 a piece. I feel very taken with the situation.
