lol was going to buy a new deck from abc warehouse and have it put in until they told me they'd have to order the mounting kit...and it would be $80...WTF?!
This was my other line of thought lol...i do have the grey sealant so it should be doable even for a moron like myself lol...anyone have a link to the proper wiring directions I searches and it seems like there are conflicting reports of kits with backwards wiring?
Heh what's funny is I was nosing around for the dccv when I found this because my a/c blows hot and when heat or a/c on the lights dim and the car hesitates...but fog light makes sense to cuz I'm missing the passenger foglight

yeah im basically planning on doing this i just need some suggestions/guidance on what alt i should be buying? going to autozone tomorrow and just need to know what i should be asking for? like i said i basically know jack sh*t about mechanics, i could do very basic stuff to my prior cars but...
quick update checked the pcm relay again and noticed some minor corrosion on the prongs, popped a new one in and no issues since (crossing my fingers)
one new thing ive noticed to add to the list of electrical issues:
driving home tonight turned the heat on and noticed that the heater fan...
yes you read correctly car running, windows down, no one around, doors to the service area locked...i had paid for them to reprogram and cut/program a second key prior to all this...
nah, i mean i dont wanna remove the wire and have the fan stop working and my engine overheat or whatever...?
ill try to see if i can snap some viewable pics, the light under my hood doesnt work and its dark out now...
was pretty much thinking the same thing...here is a list of electrical issues with the car...
-radio works but no LED display
-stock amp and sub make a "pop" when the car is turned on or off
-lights on the gear shifter work sporadically turning on or off if i "jiggle" the shifter...
small update, the problem seemed solved for about a day and a half, happened again today and i was able to replicate it in my driveway but in a much lower frequency than usual...one thing i have noticed and wasnt sure if it was normal or not (only had the car for about a week now...) was that...
well i just went and changed them...5 or 6 tries and couldnt replicate the PATs error...when i went to pull the PATs code 16 earlier it only took one try...guess we'll wait and see...
