I had the same problem with my 2000 ls6 the airbag light came on in sequence it turned out to be the connector under my seat, the wire was broke from the plug still have been successful in fixing the problem tried once and it broke again

thanks joegr I appreciate your help I have checked the brake fluid it is topped off like you say i will have the parking brake switch checked also ill check my brake pads and see whats up with them thats would make if they are worn.

fluid level is good checked that. as far as when it comes on all I can tell ya is that it comes on and off its hard to say, it has gone on and off in the same trip. its my wifes car... when I did drive it I noticed it came on once when we hit a bump so I thought I was a sensor?? emergency brake...

This morning I was driving my boyfriends car to school and got about a block or two away from the house and the ABS light and trac light came on so I thought I accidentally hit the button that turns the advanced trac light on, so I hit the button a few times and the lights were all still on...

Thanks everybody for all your help that was bugging me for awhile... turned out to be a broken wire under the seat never would have figured that out if it was not for all of ya.

my controls work but everyonce in a while they dont ill try under the seat is their a certin place that i should look at there.
