Just don't over-tighten them when you put them back in; aluminum strips out MUCH easier that cast iron....

Pulled the new battery that I left in my Mark since it's been parked and put it on a charger. Hate to lose that battery - it's not even 6 months old.

If you can get a set of 4 of those 10-spoke chrome rims, I'd be interested!

I put the '97 tranny in my 1995 'Bird. Interesting thing about it is my Mark VIII converter that used to 2nd gear brake stall at about 2200 now stalls at almost 2500 with the '97 tranny. Dirtydog (Alan) told me it's because the pressure is HIGHER with the later model tranny as opposed to the...

I think I blew a head gasket - compression test will tell me more.....

When I lived in south Florida, my neighbor's car was flooded. He just changed all the engine/trans/rear end fluids and took the interior completely out (replacing carpet). He ran the car for awhile after that!

Guys, I put changing my oil adapter gasket off FOREVER, but believe me when I tell you - it's NOT that bad. Take of driver's side tire, go through the little subframe opening for three of the bolts with a long 3/8" extension and get the last bolt from under the car.
