Thanks. Yeah I used OEM coils and plugs. If my mechanic is about 30 miles away on highway driving....in your opinion, think it will be ok to drive or should i take the precaution and get it towed?

My CEL is flashing and when I started the car this morning, it had a muscle car type idle and funny smelling exhaust. I replaced all the coils, plugs, and the two rear O2 sensors in late August. I only drove the car a half mile before turning around. Trying to do some digging on here...

Oh yeah one more... 9. A/C blows hot occasionally...DCCV issue that will fix when AC no longer works.

+1. I bought my 02 LS in 2004 for $18,000. That loan was $288 a month for 72 months at a 6.25% rate. I am not sure if you are going to find that type of rate now, especially on a used car that is that old and you will probably need to buy off a private seller. I just paid it off in full...

I run the stock 17. 7.5" width and 60 offset. I ordered 25mm spacers to create 35 offset. Sits flush with the outside of the fender. Looks real good. I don't have pics yet, but in the search type in "spacer" and you will see some postings of HyelifeLS and 02V8Sport with 20mm spacers made...

How long did you have them in for before they short circuited? I have done the same thing about 2 months ago and so far no issues other than the wiring harness not snapping the bulbs in tightly..had to wrap electrical tape around the harness to keep tight.

Tinted. Smooths out the headlights for a clean look. I see you have not blacked out the chrome window trim. Do you still plan on using the 3M pinstriping to do that?

Milehigh - Do you have any pics of your car? I have the 17" 5 spoke sports and am getting the eibachs. Also ordered 25 mm hub/wheel centric spacers to push out the wheels a little bit. Will be running 245/45. Any issues with rubbing?

Interesting that they would still make the 3 different versions for the front shocks and only two for the rear. OEM are the best from what I have read on here. Looking forward to the new ride.

I ordered that same m5 spoiler. It came as carbon fiber. Looked terrible IMO on a black car. Very cheap and ricer. Returned it and ordered the painted m5 spoiler to match.

Any issues painting over the chrome? I went to a shop and asked and the paint guy said it may or may not last for more than a year. He said he would sand down the chrome piece then repaint. Still deciding whether this is worth it and will last?

Also will be ordering the 20mm spacers to make it flush with the fenders. Any issues with lowering using Eibachs? Any other suggestions, I believe the offset of the wheel is 60.

Does anyone know the center bore measurement for the 5 spoke 17" x 7.5" wheels? I am replacing my wheels with these and am ordering the hub/wheel centric spacers and need to know the measurement. Was unable to find. Thanks.
