Thanks for the quick replies.
I'm guessing the gasket is on the drivers side due to the electronics of the autodim in the drivers side that aren't in the passenger side.
I noticed while washing my car this evening that the drivers side mirror appears to have some sort of gasket surround where the passenger side does not, I'm curious as to whether this is normal or not since the dealer has worked on the passenger side mirror several times and I'm now noticing a...
My Advance Trak did almost the exact same thing one evening on the 210 in Pasadena, same year as yours with similiar milage... hasn't happened since and I don't remember anything odd about the road surface and it was just my 150lbs on board.
Did you happen to have the seat coolers on at the...
Oooooh not this wonderful thread again... I remember reading this when I first signed up here.
Notice that the original thread starter disappeared on 'deployment' and hasn't been heard from since... there was also some ebay drama in other parts of the forum.
From what I've seen they typically only write tint tickets along with something else... speeding, rolling a stop sign etc.
Rumor has it (maybe from on here) that cali cops can now write tint tickets as misdemeanors or fix it tickets depending on the situation.
Up or down the hill? (I live at the end of the 2)
I had mine to 125 on the I15 for a brief second... I forgot how sh!tty some parts of that road are and just about bottomed out on one of the bridge bumps.
Exact same numbers I pulled to Vegas a few weekends ago cept I was pretty steady 85 - 90.
On a side note - my mileage drop off a few miles per gallon (computer calculated) after the 2nd time I took it to the shop for transmission issues, prior to that visit it was regularly showing over...
I onced raced Bobcat Dave in his Kenworth dumbtruck (with surprisingly enough a Bobcat in tow) from Orange County to Los Angeles on a Friday evening.
I smoked him (and few others) getting on freeway mostly because I was 4 lanes in the wrong lane to get on the freeway; I was feeling pretty...
My 04 isn't what I would call super cold, I have to have the vents blowing on me in order to actually stay cool and it has yet to get really hot out here.
Thus far I've atributed the issue to a lack of window tint since my other vehicles with with tinted windows don't require me to have the...
Out this way they mandate the front plate for red light cameras, drive through cameras and fast track cameras amongest other things. I'm with you on it being flat and ugly.
Bummer on the ticket but thanks for posting it... we were sitting around in a meeting last week trying to figure out what phone numbers the cops have listed on the their traffic tickets for the various courts. (I work for their telecom department)
With that aside I'm in the market for having...
All that combined with the car being a 2nd vehicle are the reasons I keep mine under a cover.
The cover I'm using isn't water proof however it is water resistant and breathable meaning that it will keep pretty much everything off of the car except the heavy and extended rains, in those cases...
Outside but with a good quality cover, takes are of the spotting problem when it drizzles first thing in the morning or the sprinklers hit it. I've also mastered the art of getting the cover on or off in under a minute. :Beer
