    Common reason for the start up issue is the IAC Valve.

    Ford back-spec'd these cars to 5W-20, so you can switch to that now. 5W-30 is fine, too. I'd go with the 20.

    +1 Mix it with a full tank of fresh gas and it will be diluted. You'll be fine.
