Folks: Just let go of my 98 Mark VIII :( and found a great sedan:) ...99 DeVille d'Elegance. What a ride!!! Question: When I shut off the engine, I still hear faint static out of the speakers. Even after opening the drivers door. Any body else experience this??

Folks: My 98 Mark started pulling to the right while braking. The L/M dealer shop replaced frozen caliper and brake hoses ($700+). It still pulls to the right while braking. Now they are telling me it's a hydraulic ABS pump and could cost me well over $1,500 to have it rebuilt...

Being a new Mark VIII owner (1998), I'm not sure about this. First, should the sound of the air pump be overly noisy? Sounds almost like a grind. Second, should the air ride system always be on, or can it be turned off for normal driving? Hope this isn't too stupid? Thanks, folks!
