Every time I leave my car on a rainy day when I come back it's dead I have to have it jumped in order for it to start back up...any ideas on the issue

Put a new lower radiator hose on my car due to a hole being on the rubber part after about 45 min of removing air out of the system...still no hot air....followed exact...bleeding procedure..the car started overheating...I took my jug of water and poured it on the radiator and it cooled down...

Can you tell me what this is mines on my car looks old and rusty I want to replace it ... it looks like a little circular round planet..it had a tube that comes out the center...right next to the oil tube in the back of the engine..I'm trying to post a pic having a hard time

This forum has been awesome in helping me with my car The Craigslist Nightmare...SO this guy said the car was in great condition a few days later I could barely drive without it spuddering horribly and is still spuddering when I get to 45-50. ..I changed the spark plugs...it helped...
