trying to solve overheating problem. removed fan so i could get to radiator and ran car.soon as thermostat opened i used raytek gun to check radiator temp bottom of radiator ranges from 80 to 120 and top is 170 to 200 shouldnt it be consitsant throughout?

to all who posted replies to my earlier thread thanks.here is update i have found that car can sit idling in drive seems forever before getting hot yet on the road only takes maybe 10 15 minutes.if run ac takes much longer but still gets hot.used a raytek on radiator and found bottom around 70...
