I have a 2000 LSV8. I recently changed the rotors and pads and they squeal terrible. I have tried two sets of pads and they both squeak badly. I tried the brake quite compound that you spread on the back of the pads and it didn't even phase it. Any suggestions I am getting desperate

The gen 2 has the ebrake that is just the button for set or release. what actually actuates the brake cable and where is it located? I have a gen 1 and am in the process of putting a gen 2 console in it and was wondering about the ebrake setup??
