well, did an oil change and my oil was very thin(water like) and stank of gas, and my car doesnt always start right away, gotta crank it for like 30sec sometimes, thinkin an injector might be leaking and dumpin gas in my oil and causing it to lose prime makin it suck to start.
well after a little looking, i found the culprit, one of the plastic connections on the intake was broke and sucking air, runs fine when held together. So much ****ty plastic on these damn cars lol but was also wondering about a way to test injectors since I have oil in my gas and hard to start...
Just did an oil change and seems as though there is gasoline in my oil, what is the most common cause for this. Any way to check possible issues? 2001 LS with 3.9l V8
Well the fan appears to be running properly after further inspection.
I did find the radiator is not getting warm at all and my heat is weak at best.
Thinking water pump. Any thoughts?
Also the degas cap seems to be holding pressure.
01 3.9l V8 175k miles, what about the fan sound? That normal with a leak? I have checked and found zero leaks and has pressure, has been fine for a long time. Could be as simple as a water pump or thermostat?
