I tried doing the exhaust and i don't want to spend a dime on a lincoln. It problably is the h pipe or headers that leak so i will not address this problem. The car has a mustang 302 h.o. Engnine, aod tranny and 8.8 with rear discs. Pretty much a mustang drivetrain. 700.00 and you take it home...

In fair shape. Passed ma inspection. Reason i want to get rid of it is because i want to concentrate on my mustang and want to get it on the road the car is decent. Bottom of the fenders rotted so i patched them with sheetmetal. Needs exhaust work and other things. Problably good for parts but...

Well i ran the car bone stock. 16.3@87 Actually better than i thought. the 60 ft was 2.40 holy slow launch. Exhaust and gears will go in next week.

I take it these cars still have the 28 spline track lock and axles correct?

More than likely i'll stick with it. I have been known to be impatient. This car is quite nice so i will take my time and decide what to do. And thanks for that link i really appreciate all of the help.

The more i get involved with this car the faster i want to sell it.

How much work is involved in order to install a 5spd. besides the pedals and other crap, do i need a different crossmember, and will a mustang cross member fit?
