ported boxes take more air space than sealed. Sealed are the way to go if you want sound quality ported if you are looking for more output and they are more effecient (take less power to run). My advice would to e-mail JL and tell them what kind sound you want and the will design it for you.

I made a box that goes down in the spare tire well its for sale right now on this board somewhere just search for fiberglass box. It leaves all the trunk space intact.

$450 is a starting price and sounds like his would need couple hundred in repairs to get to show quality because of the cracks and what not. Mine on the other hand is ready to go and takes up no trunk space.

well I guess I need that guy to build my new one because for good fiberglass resin and fiberglass mat your looking at about $100 and about another $50 to $100 for the rest of the material. I'm not trying to be an ass but fiberglass boxes are'nt cheap!

Have you guys ever priced one of these from a stereo shop this box would be about $700 to $800 if you bought one from them. I have at least 40hr in this box before it was painted and the body shop had a few hours on it to fix a few waves in it before they painted it. I'm open to price offers...

1.6 cubic feet and tuned to 38hz

The car seems to shift funny from 2nd to 3rd at high RPM's. Almost seems like it shakes a little bit??? Any ideas the cars under waranty I just want to have some sort of idea so they give me any B.S. Oh the cars a 2002 V8 auto LSE

Just with the sub I'm at about 400 watts RMS. The air ride is very relibale been on for over two years not one problem

I'm looking for the part that goes over the spare tire. it basicly covers the whole trunk floor. Is there anybody that has one for sale or know of a place I can get one other than the stealership. Thanks Tim

I'm getting ready to buy new tires and i'm thinking of getting the BF Goodrich 255/45zr-17 G-force T/A KDW. Is there anything wrong with this set up or this brand of tire I sould know before I buy them???
