Another shudder thread, but this appears to be different
My mark 8 has a shudder that occurs 80% of the time but the other 20% it's smooth. It does it in any gear, any throttle condition and sometimes seems to shake at idle. Looking at buying a 93' mark VIII, what to look for.
Ok, I'm not actually looking to buy it I'm helping my brother buy it. I'm wondering what are the good questions to ask the prior owner that specifically pertain to the Mark VIII. Do the transmissions in these last as long as the engines? It has 142K miles. Thanks in advance.- Mechanicboy
