It's a 2002 with the V8 and Premium Sport

Haven't bought them yet but I googled the part # 9.5171R and the pictures don't seem to show a split. I have polyurethane bushings on another car and it doesn't seem too flexible either.

Sorry to bump an old thread but... The OEM Lincoln bushings have a split so you can just pop them on and off the sway bar. The Energy polyurethane ones seem solid. How do you put it on? Do you slide it on from the very end?

Sorry if this has been covered guys... Our '02 LS V8 is coming up on the end of its warranty. It's very low mileage right now, and has never given us any problems. Are there any problems with the LS I should know about? What is the V8 misfiring issue? We have the optoin of buying a Ford...

I think your rotors are on backwards... That should be a right front rotor.

Hey guys, just wondering how those rotors are holding up. I have UUC cross drilled & slotted rotors on my CTS and they are great. Looking to upgrade the LS brakes soon. How much were they by the way?

Would anyone be able to get me the part number for the engine block heater plug on a '02 LS? The one with the little black plastic door that hides the plug and mounts to the front bumper? Hoping I can somehow make it work on the CTS. I swear, Lincoln thought of things a lot better than...

Pretty sure that's a '02 LSE. Most likely the previous owner wasnt a car nut, and when it came time to replace the tires, they hit up eBay and figured why not just get a OEM rim and tire combo for less than the cost of new 17" tires? People do that all the time.

I have 4 Bridgestone Turanza EL42s. They were mounted on a Lincoln LS for a little. They are 235/50/17 and V rated. Factory specs are 10/32" tred depth when new. Right now they are ranging from 6.5/32 to 7.5/32 depending on which tire it is. A set of 4 will cost you over a grand easily...

You can get stabilitrak on its own, and it comes with the 1SC package as well.

Go find a wet parking lot and punch the gas around a corner. See if it says "Traction Engaged" or "Stability System Enabled" If it only says Traction Engaged, you don't have Stabilitrack.

All years have it. It's an option.
