I had/have the same problem in my 05, only it was just in the read deck speakers. No sound and the "pop". Its the amp. Had it replaced under warranty. Now the second one is starting to pop, so it will be replaced with an after market amp and sub.

You have to be careful when switching to full syn. I am running ams oil in mine now, but it only had 17000 when i got it. I run royal purple in my truck, before i had it rebuild i was running syn and it leaked bad.

I use to use royal purple not in the ls tho switched to ams oil when i got her. Longer change intervals with ams oil.

Are any of the diffs limited slips.

yea carbon fiber is more but it is the litest but aluminum is cheeper. i dont understand y the ls didnt come with an aluminum driveshaft.

it seems to accelerate alittle easier now and i notested a slight increase in mpg i feel more bottom end then top end i hated the wine it made when it hit 4-5k.
