My mechanic did, same 2 previous codes. P2106 and also P1000 came back up.

UPDATE: So before getting the computer replaced, i followed advice, replace battery to have fully powered system. Battery was replaced yesterday, AND just to CHECK THE ECM one last time, had my mechanic place it back in. Well yesterday once we started up the car, 0 codes showed up, car started...

Purchased the vehicle for once i received my license back, which is next month. Understand the systematic fails....purchased a new battery sunday and had it placed in.

Joejr, I dont think i would want to go through installing a complete new engine harness on the car, i definitely would rather get rid of it first....thats just alot of work for this car that i havent even been able to drive yet..

Guys, i just got into a long convo with another ecm retailer that i met off of ebay, which for side note info is selling the ecm programmed for around 350....but anyhow, when we got into talking, he emphasized that its extremely important with these cars to have a good charge/strong-decent...

Telco im a little confused can you help me???...you said that O Reillys wants 250-255 for one, and when i looked at that link, it says they need the vin number which means they are going to program it correct?? But then you say the Lincoln dealer can handle the keys as well as the PCM...

i would love to fix the car for another 500, but the LAST 500 on the OEM coils and plugs WERE SUPPOSE TO WORK....LOL....just venting guys, sorry....

I spoke with their rep name Mike which was the Lincoln technician that does the majority of Lincoln repairs. direction as to were i can get that done?? or is that the multiple auctions i saw on ebay about repairing a pcm, generally it was starting around 180 if i remember correctly.

quick update: unfortunately the car is still acting the same with the 2 codes still popping up. MY mechanic let the car run for a while yesterday and still the same. The car is running smoother with the OEM coils but still that fail safe mode is kicking in with the code P2106. Also during...
