I only had liability on it, so no reason to call the INS company. The take away from that for me was to call the police immediately when crap like that happens.

50 miles round trip with no miss today, if it happens again, I plan to pull the intake again (joy) and clean all of the electrical connectors with wire dry and recheck the coil seating and plug gap. Don't know what else to do.

Sorry, not a bump exactly, I forgot to subscribe for email updates, when I tried to the system made me post something.

It usually uses a quart between changes, run full synthetic, change at 6K. Part of that was leaking valve covers, which I just replaced. There was a puddle that ran out of the intake on my bench, though so there was more than what you see. It runs fine, generally.
