I have a 04 LS and wish to replace the entry keypad. I took the door panel off and was unable to reach the keypad (or even determine how to reach that high into the door). Has anyone removed one of these before? In looking at the replacement, and i dont see any screws or retaining clips...

what made it not work? Mounting? electric?

well ill order one from a black zephyr and let take a before and after.

I noticed the other day that zephyr's have painted keypads and the OEM unpainted plastic one on the LS's take away from the car looking complete. Is it possible to buy one from ford or get one from a wreck and replace it without too much trouble (computer issues, ect..)
