    ^^^^^ yep. etching primer.scuff the metal up with steel wool or 320 grit sand paper,you can buy etching primer in a spray can.i would recommend letting the etching primer dry for a couple of days before painting over it.

    okay here are some pictures of what i will probably stay with.the carbon fiber was just to show everyone an ideal,lots of marks have damaged weather stripping.i went with black vinyl.i think it looks good and is a big improvement over what it was.[/IMG]

    thank you Danny. yeh the window seal is just a thought.i had a friend of mine in st Louis send me 4 windows,three of them were shot.not much for carbon fiber look,but i was just throwing the ideal out there for everyone.ill probably go with a solid black vinyl.

    Okay guys dont beat me up too bad,this is just some goofing off.but those with screwed up rubber on the rear windows here is a cool way to fix it.maybe ricey but it does look better than weathered rubbers..please note,i bought this stuff at autozone for my bike.they do make rolls that is wide...

    Big rotors a must.Yeh lots more to tubbing these cars out than regular cars.after looking it over and measuring I could only go with a 12 inch wide wheel to keep it tucked inside.anything beyond that is extensive work...not saying the work to put a 12 in the rear is easy, still will need to move...

    Easy off oven cleaner works good. Spray it on let set hose off then put in dish washer while wife isn't watching.

    Haha.thanks. its a lot of work to set up a car like that.I don't mind the work as long as it turns out the way I want it.I can fit the rims on just to look at it to see if its the direction I want to go.like I said its just a thought...10 years ago people would laugh at you for putting 18s on...
