I need some OEM exterior pillars for the front and back door on the driver's side. I don't need the small pillar on the back window. Who has them or a link to get them? Thanks!

Theres plenty of stick on pillars on ebay...not sure how hard it would be to remove the oem pillar and replace but Tasca should have them.

Or you could always sand them down and hit them with some paint.

Tried the stick on pillars (the black ones) and they don't fit properly. I was just advised to get OEM pillars on here and that seems like the best way to go if I can get my hands on them. Looking at Tascaparts.com now. Kinda sucks I they don't have pictures.

Dont worry about not having pictures.

As long as the part number is right you will get the proper part.

I saw your other thread about the covers not fitting but I bought these http://www.ebay.com/itm/00-06-Lincoln-LS-BLACK-B-Pillar-door-covers-6pc-post-window-trim-glossy-piano-/230690761604?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item35b63dab84 and they fit great....forgive the dirty car, its been sitting in the garage for awhile collecting dust.

I don't like how they look thick, but granted yours look WAY better than the ones I received.

Checking parts.com now

parts.com will bring you to the site . Search body parts and click on doors

I have a front door set from a 2000 LS...

see door photo. I can send additional photos if needed.

Maybe you cannot find the p/n (255A34) b/c ford does NOT service that part on the gen2. 2000 thru 2002 is available as a separate part while the 2003 and up is part of that whole assy p/n (246A26)

You can just tape around them, rough them up a bit and spray them.

They dont need to come off.

Ok so I got some of those chrome ones and tried painting them and cannot get them shiny to my liking. Anyone have any suggestions? I've tried doing buffing and that didn't work. I'm using some valspar gloss black stuff I got from Lowe's. Anyone have any paint suggestions that would match the OEM paint job? I really don't want flat/non glossy pillars.

Are installing OEM pillars difficult? I need them the two big ones for the driver's side.

Just take them off and take them to a professional detailing shop and have them restore them, NOT a mom and pop shop. I'm getting new paint in a few months and the guy said it is common for glossy b pillars to fade and for them to discolor. He said he would restore them while the car is getting painted.

EDIT: Actually this would work. It's the same concept, you just treat them like headlights. You want the gloss back, this could be a possibility. What could it hurt? you have already reduced yourself to stick on pillars.

Well my pillars are still shiny but dented so I'd have to bondo, sand and repaint. I think I'm going to try these http://www.ebay.com/itm/23059321191...ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123&vxp=mtr#ht_1561wt_1185

They are thin like the chrome ones but black. I think these are new because all the old black stick on pillars were terribly thick.

I looked today on ebay and they had OEM b pillars for Gen I left side. Last week the same company had about 5 sets of Gen I and Gen II listed. They must be selling like crazy. They were full OEM used sets with clips and everything. I'll see if I can get the company and post back.

EDIT: Call them and see if they can source you parts. Phone # is in the listing. These are the Gen I I was talking about.

Well I just ordered those new stick on ones. Oh well these are for the passenger door anyway.
