Oil in throttle body

Working my way down to the intake manifold -- I decided to take the TB off. It's got oil coming through, and I don't mean vapor. A compression test may be in order when it's running again.

Common causes, anybody?.. Or just. Piston rings?.. Something that I've never done before and can't afford.

I *can* install a catch can to try and protect the throttle body electronics.. It seems pretty bad.

Oil's not that overfilled. VCT sensors are siliconed into the valve covers to stop leaks..

Can you put up some pics or details about how you route the catch can and what size fuel hose you use? I found oil in my intake so probably will do the same thing
