My current orginal windshield is kind of pitted and from research here it seems only Pilkington brand is up to par for replacement as OEM carlite is no longer available?

Came across an OEM one in great condition and was thinking of removing it myself and sticking it on mine. Is the OEM carlite actually worth the hassle though over just getting a Pilkington? (If they are even available still.)

Havent seen an LS windshield removal done and assuming its simple like any other ive seen but with this damn car who knows. Besides cowl how do the heated wipers even attach?

As if anything on this car wouldnt be.. what about as far as glass quality?

Pilkington on both on mine now. I don't have any complaints with it.

I would just take it to an experienced reputable auto glass shop that and have them do it.

They can probably do it in about an hour... and it's not like the windshield is gonna be any cheaper if you buy it to install.

If they sell both Carlite and Pilkington, just ask what the price difference is.
