Is it Legal to drive with no door?

hey all. I have a question for ya... my cousion knocked off the passanger door of my 1987 Town Car. The problem is, its my daily driver... so, is it leagal for me to drive arround with no door, untill I can get the door put back on?

And is it easy to get the door back on one of these cars, or will I need to get new hinges and wires and all that good stuff?

well it wouldnt b that hard to put the door bac on it matters how the other door got ripped off if u need new hinges n everything but ya i think it is illegal

i assume so... i once saw a neon with no drivers door going onto the highway. i say go ahead and drive it. if its illegal a cop'll pull you over, and you can profess your innocence of not knowing it was illegal .
