Hey all, seems like i'm getting my self into more poop every day with these issues. I've noticed for the past few days, my engine will make a loud metallic rattling noise if i press the accelerator abruptly from idle but will completely stop once engine RPM's go past 1200. If I slowly press the gas it runs quiet like a kitten. I have also heard it during driving if I am next to the center divider on a highway but its much less noisy, it sounds like a light tapping. I want to say it sounds like timing chains but I can't really say that since I don't hear it at idle.

Do you have a check engine light on. It could be the catalytic converter. I had that issue with mine when they started going bad.
