Does anyone know a reputable shop/mechanic to do the timing service on a 2000 Lincoln LS V8 here in the greater Milwaukee, WI area... Normally I would do it myself but no longer have a garage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not the serpentine tensioner, definitely timing related, I believe I'm hearing the lower passenger side... Definitely belt slapping in there, tearing it apart tomorrow night, as far as pulley squeal, has to be the water pump, looks like I'm going all out and servicing all timing parts. Anyone...

One of the lower tensioners must be toast, going in again to change the rest of the tensioners soon, the squeaking must be a pulley cause that sound is gone with the serpentine off, thanks for the input guys, I'll post again to update results

Taking the belt off tonight... Sounds like my best bet right now... Thanks, I'll update soon

No belt squealing during acceleration, but sounds like bearing squeal, tapping gets louder in the area of the crank pulley/water pump

I scope the water pump, I can hear loud tapping as well, but nowhere else, it has me baffled, just out of curiosity... Could that even occur? Or is it a possibility it could be the timing chain?

Removed the lines, clips were very brittle so I'm looking for replacements, anyone know where I can acquire these ( I've searched everywhere including dealers, and local parts stores. )

Dead serious, can't joke around with NOS... I ran a dry system on my SHO up until 2007.... spun a bearing but different reason, the 3.2L Yamaha's bearings is a big weak point... anyways dropping a wet kit in the LS soon for added HIT when needed and going completely stock on my SHO, can't seem...
