One step at a time. I will have the trans built to the best that can be done. Once I find out how long it last until I scatter it. Then I will work from there. Make no mistake I plan of blowing up at least one more and trans in the process. Like I told someone in a pm. Never tell me something...
Well I. A transmission it is not so kich the horsepower you worry about. It is the torq. I got lucky when I started building up my 300c and twin turbo that 5.7. Stock transmission can handle 796 foot pou nds. But correct me if I am wrong did they not drop this transmission in the stang? But...
Well this is not my first rodeo. I have built up a few cars most would not waste the money on. Many of these custom parts will cost me a ton less than most. Over my years of racing I have built a network of friends. One makes cranks and rods for custom built pulling trucks. I will have this done...
Yea I have ported and polished more heads than i can count. And habe ran in to casting voids. And the bottom end sounds nice. So I just need to order my billet crank, custom rods and pistons. Then talk to sts about a twin turbo kit to push 15psi.....now to get a set of heads and see if I can...
So I am working on getting custom made internal parts made for my ls. Mainly finding out prices and who can do what. I have not got a junk motor I can pull apart and measure things yet. But what I am wondering can the heads on these cars be reworked...like changing the heads camber and putting...
I have read many posts here about shocks. None tell me if the isba difference in shocks from year to year. If I ran jag s type shocks and springs on the rear. Will it lower or raise my car compaired to the ford spring and shocks? Or will it be level?
Not seen this in the forums. My lincoln has "special suspension" I do not want monroes o. The rear. Will the kyb for a 2003 be better? I would do jag shocks on the rear. But being I have to use jag springs worried it would be a ride height differance.
Tune works great. Got three tunes. An mpg, proformance, and a proformance with +2 degrees advance timing. And shift pressures turned up. Barks when shifting rear end jerks to the side each time it happens might have something to do with the 28 spline auburn.
