I have an LS 06, and it has a metal strip below the front hood line, right around the air intakes at the bottom of the car. It is a single metal strip...has some oxidization on it. Anyone know of a good way to remove that oxidization? CLR?

I have a 2006 lincoln LS, and when I accelerate, I hear sometimes a scraping/rattling noise coming from the rear of the car. Any ideas on what that could be? It's only when accelerating.:confused:

So I got an SCT tuner long ago and turned off the traction control, but today I am driving and the car slips a bit, and I see the board dash icon light up and I feel the traction C. kicking in. Any ideas why it wont go off? it says its off, but evidently its not :(

Im playing around wth my tuner for a 2006 LS. Anyone have thoughts on the WOT, and whether one should run +2 Lean or +2 rich? Which might be better for the car?

I did a tune last night, and went to SAVED OPTIONS and changed my traction control to OFF. This evening my car slid a tad, and the traction control came on. I was like, WTF. I turned it off! So I ran the Tune again and under SAVED OPTIONS it was still ticked off as TRACTION CONTROL ON. So...

Ok cool, when I install it, I shall do that. I figured it shouldnt matter if the mechanism is similar, but just a different name. Wicked, thanks.

On my SCT Tuner it gives the option AIRBOX. It then asks me if I'm running a stock airflow or a Typhoon one. I have neither, but I will have the KKM one....should I just leave the option on STOCK or should I select the Typhoon (even though I wont have the Typhoon)?

Cool. I adjust spark plugs on the tune, and the engine fan...anything else I'm missing for better performance, or should check to make sure its there?

I also have an SCT Tuner. After the intake is installed, should I run the tuner again? Can I get it to recognize the new intake?
