My battery went dead and i could not get the trunk open! Tried everything. Saw these pics and was moderately challenged trying to do this but I eventually got it. Saved me money for a locksmith, thanks for the pics. 01 LS V8 86k miles.

Every three or four days my battery goes dead and when i try to start it the RPM and Speedometer sweep and the car just clicks, no start. Boost and away i go for another few days. Thinking alternator but could be Battery? 01 LS V8 86k miles, problem only started since weather got cold.

I got a multimeter for like $10 and my battery was showing 12V but with accessories running in the car it dropped to 10.8V. Alternator replaced and problem gone. 01 LS V8 86k miles.
