Thanks for the quick replies. I'm guessing the gasket is on the drivers side due to the electronics of the autodim in the drivers side that aren't in the passenger side.

Oooooh not this wonderful thread again... I remember reading this when I first signed up here. Notice that the original thread starter disappeared on 'deployment' and hasn't been heard from since... there was also some ebay drama in other parts of the forum.

From what I've seen they typically only write tint tickets along with something else... speeding, rolling a stop sign etc. Rumor has it (maybe from on here) that cali cops can now write tint tickets as misdemeanors or fix it tickets depending on the situation.
