    '93 lincoln TC trouble spots?

    Check the lower ball joints and see if they are the originals (flat top no grease fitting) They had a safety recall on these. If they start squeaking you could end up closer to the road than you'd like to be.

    Ignition Cylinder Replacement?

    Be sure and disconnect the battery, then turn the key to the run position before you pull out the old cylinder. The new cylinder comes set from the factory at the run position. When you slide it back in all the way you turn it to off and that sets the cylinder in place so it won't come back out.

    THE SQUEAK IS PROBABLY LOWER BALL JOINTS THAT ARE ABOUT TO PUT YOU DOWN CLOSER TO THE ROAD THAN YOU'D RATHER BE. IF THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN CHANGED THEN TAKE YOUR TC TO THE DEALER FOR SAFETY RECALL OF 90 TO 96 TC LOWER BALL JOINTS. SUPPOSED TO BE FREE. SORRY I CAN'T SUGGEST ANYTHING ABOUT THE...

    IF YOUR TC IS 90-96 CHECK WITH DEALER FOR MAJOR SAFETY RECALL OF LOWER BALL JOINTS, REPLACEMENT IS SUPPOSED TO BE FREE.
