I'm Rock Shadow-Walker.
Recently got a 2000 Lincoln LS,Boss 20's, cold air intake,HID lights & Pioneer DVD deck.
Was sold with 3 issues (Driver door latch requires lock be pulled,cup holder falls over and fan hooked up to manual toggle). Actually way more issues good thing my dad is a licensed Ford mechanic that hooks up free labour as long as I drive Fords.
Was told it runs perfectly meanwhile coils 1 and 6 were misfiring(it was actually over heating and really chuggin bad-sounded like a bad problem-thankfully pops has the dealership computer and software, tranny solenoid is screwed can't drive in D5 without check engine light and gross loud scrape-also occasionally feel a slight scrape under the shifter.
Then front inside air duct trim flies off,passenger door lock has to be manually unlocked,passenger door trim over light is broken,sunroof broken-a long bar fell out,no trunk liner-plywood and scrap felt used,passenger seat coming apart at back.
Nothing I care about really, I can save a lot on labour taking it to the dealership my dad works at ,free dealership shop time on weekends is a huge plus. I also have a 3d printer to make any clips or odds n ends it needs, I plan to make new custom trim for everything as well as interior light covers.
I really love driving this car and will love it even more once the transmission solenoid is replaced and there's a little something off the start and doesn't sound embarrassing.
I also ordered a programmer and have a lot of plans for this car like suicide rear doors, body kit and so much more.
The amp isn't on it's final mount, this was just temporary. I plan on isolating fuse box and battery and pulling out the spare tire cover and making a sub box where the spare tire would go (I ordered run flats so I don't really need a spare and I helped my bro build a custom box for his Iroc inside of the tire well and it sounded awesome.
