It was actually quite complicated, including breaking the plastic weld on the opposite side of the emblem and unscrewing the 4 threaded bolts at the top on the backside. I should have taken pictures as I went along but it was too frustrating as it was. Totally worth it though.

Thanks BigRig, yours inspired me to get off my ass and put some money into mine. Only had it 6 months though. You think gunmetal would look good with the Chris caps? I have the painted set still. Gotta sand & reprint everything eventually anyways

My grandfather did, as well as a 4-speed transmission. Came out of a ford truck from the 70s. He was going to race it when he was younger but it ended up sitting in the barn too long and seized up by the time I bought it off him.

Thanks Don! Bought it when I was 17 and rebuilt the 390 big block motor for my first time. Runs incredible. Haven't put more than 3000 miles on it since. Saving it for later when I've got the funds to do it just right.
