It's actually called an amp trigger delay. I bought it from logjam electronics. P.I.E. EIS-PS Amp trigger delay It just delayed the pop.

I did connect the remote turn on from the head unit to the correct lead from the amp. I had to buy a conversion from Crutchfield to do this.
