Yeah, wasn't about to shell out 250 for a battery anyways. After getting the tests back I had the guy charge it and try again. The second test measured 612 CAA right after the charge. Took it home and no dice..
Awesome. Just went to walmart and had it tested. Said dead cell - replace battery. I'm going to probably grab the battery that you suggested and try that. Hopefully it's available in Canada
Ok. Makes sense. I will be taking the battery in today to test it. Before I do that, could it be a fuse that's causing the problem? I want to rule out anything cheap before I take it in because I only work part time so the tow to the shop is gonna kill me.
Yeah I apologize for the new thread. I just figured the first one would be dead by now and no one would see it. I appreciate the replies anyways and I think I'll probably take the battery to a Canadian Tire to have it load tested.
No, I haven't had it load tested yet. It's been tough for me to get around without my car. If it was the battery then that wouldn't explain the horrible sound I heard before it died out though, right?
