About your engine light. I changed my air filter one time and forgot to reconnect the wire connector to the MAF. That tripped the CEL. I reconnected and it went out automatically, after afew miles. However when the CEL came on it stayed on, not on and off like you describe.

How did you get a K&N cone filter on your LS. The KKM setup everyone talks about on here is built for the LS but it uses a "powerstack" filter. I perfer a K&N filter and was thinking about building a tube that would mate to the MAF on one end and have a K&N cone on the other. Just curious how...

Yeah I saw that clip before. I think I've come full circle on this whole issue. If I lose the resonators I'll get the sound outside the car I want, but inside It'll probably have the resonance hum I despise. If I keep the resonators and go with the 40's it may be too quiet to sound like muscle...

I got a price to put some flowmaster series 40 delta flows on my 01 ls v8. I'm a little worried that the 40's will be too loud. I wanted to go with the 50 series but he said that they would not fit (body too big). I'm keeping the factory piping and resonators just swapping the mufflers...
