About your engine light. I changed my air filter one time and forgot to reconnect the wire connector to the MAF. That tripped the CEL. I reconnected and it went out automatically, after afew miles. However when the CEL came on it stayed on, not on and off like you describe.

Yeah I saw that clip before. I think I've come full circle on this whole issue. If I lose the resonators I'll get the sound outside the car I want, but inside It'll probably have the resonance hum I despise. If I keep the resonators and go with the 40's it may be too quiet to sound like muscle...
